 Allen and Heidi Asbury along with their two year old boy, Tegan Allen Asbury, are proud members of New River Fellowship in Weatherford, Texas. Allen and his family have been attending NRF for four years. NRF is the launching pad and spiritual covering for Allen Asbury Ministries. Allen is active in the music department of NRF when he is home and leads worship in their Life Group which is led by Paul & Cassy Gray. In the early 90's, Paul Gray was in Allen's youth group when Allen was music and youth minister at North Main Church Of God in Weatherford, Texas. Now, Paul speaks into Allen and Heidi's life every Tuesday night in Life Group. Tegan lov  es his childrens church as well as all his little buddy's he hangs with at church. The Asbury's pastor is Scott Crenshaw. Scott and the entire NRF ministerial staff play a huge role in the lives and ministry of the Asbury's. The prayers, leadership and support of NRF is vital as the Asbury's do their best to stay true to the call that God has placed upon their lives. Allen Asbury Ministry's is an extention of New River Fellowship. "Allen Asbury will blow you out of the water. From the moment he opens his mouth he is speaking of the greatness of our God. But then prepare as he takes you on a journey through song and leaves you worshipping God. As Allen and Heidi’s pastor, I get the blessing of not only having them as faithful members of our church but also having them wash the feet of our people in ministry. The same commitment and zeal that is seen on the stage is also lived out off the stage. We are honored to have them call New River Fellowship home and you will be blessed to have them in. Allen Asbury Vision Statement We seek to reflect God's love for us in the way we treat others - not only with words of encouragement, but through practical actions which comfort, sustain and uplift those in greatest need.  The Scriptures clearly reveal this call to action, and its truth will be our guide (1 John 3:16, Isaiah 58:6-12, Matthew 25:31-46, Acts 2:40-47).As believers in Christ's Gospel of mercy, we strive to bring God's promised salvation to men and women of every race, creed and walk of life. Jesus also taught that the needy are rich in faith - a gift which can bless the poor in spirit. Therefore, we seek to create an exchange of both material and spiritual sustenance between the Church in America and churches in developing countries. In all things, we strive to glorify God, revealing His perfect grace to the world. Mission Statement In recognition that poverty ravages many areas of the world - victimizing families, children and the elderly, we dedicate ourselves to a ministry of relief and development to aid the poorest of the poor. Wherever possible, our work is not to sustain the needy, but rather to break the cycle of poverty that plagues them. By providing educational opportunities and by focusing on community development, we strive to make impoverished individuals and villages self-supporting.  Rather than create new institutions to distribute aid, we will first seek to help existing ministries and churches already serving the poor. In addition to being the most cost-effective way of helping the poor, empowering these ministries allows us to support the Church's spiritual mission and its important position of leadership in poor communities. Through prayer, and in a spirit of obedience, we submit our work to God, seeking His inspiration and leading in everything we do. |

Thank you so much for supporting our ministry. It is our desire to stay true to the call God has placed on our lives. This ministry has gone far above our imagination in every way. This has been a true  ministry for our military and their families. The testimonies from all kinds of people from around the globe have been an encouragement to us as well as humbling. We simply want to offer the hope of Christ to everyone who will listen. We humbly accept any donation be it big or small. We have had hard working people to help us along the way since day one and we do not take that for granted. We also ask that you keep us in your prayers. These are dreams come true for us but the road isn't as glamorous as you would think. The way we see it, we are all in this together and we need each other.
